Dog breeders from around the world will be gathering in Helsinki, Finland for the World Dog Show.
You will have the opportunity to admire the most beautiful Cavaliers from around the world, and even if some breeders choose to travel without their dogs, they will hopefully be able to attend, from all over the world.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet people, exchange ideas and opinions about the Cavaliers which we all love.
The Finnish Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club is organizing this fantastic event a day after the World Dog Show, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Scandic Park Hotel in Helsinki.
We have been extremely lucky to get DVM PhD Dipl. ECVIM-CA Niek Beijerink from the Netherlands to tell us about the latest research on cardiac health.
In addition, the following experts have been invited to talk about health information in their respective countries: Jeanie Montford, Bettina Sterling, Wil Schrander, and Sheena Maclaine. Dr Annukka Paloheimo will be telling us about the history of the breed, and the Chair of The Royal Kennel Club, Tony Allcock, has offered to open the World Cavalier Day. The exact details of the event will be published at a later date.
Cavalier Night is for meeting and greeting our international attendants. Let’s have fun together and get to know new people!
The Cavalier Day includes lunch, as well as free coffee and tea.
The Cavalier Night includes a buffet (drinks are not included, but a cash bar will be available)

World Dog Show’n yhteydessä kasvattajat ympäri maailmaa kokoontuvat Helsinkiin.
Sinulla on ainutlaatuinen mahdollisuus ihailla maailman kauneimpia cavalier kingcharlesinspanieleita, jotka ovat tulleet paikalle esiintymään Worl Dog Show’ssa Helsingissä elokuussa 2025.

Olemme olleet erittäin onnekkaita saadessamme luennoitsijaksi eläinlääketieteen tohtorin, dipl. ECVIM-CA Niek Beijerinkin Alankomaista, joka kertoo meille viimeisimmät cavalierien sydänasioihin liittyvät tutkimustulokset.
Lisäksi seuraavat asiantuntijat kertovat cavalierien terveystilanteesta omien maidensa osalta ympäri maailmaa kattavasti: Jeanie Montford, Bettina Sterling, Wil Schrander ja Sheena Maclaine.

Cavalier Night on tarkoitettu rentoon yhdessäoloon ja kansainvälisen osallistujajoukon kanssa keskusteluihin. Pidetään yhdessä hauskaa ja tutustutaan uusiin ihmisiin!
